Deadpixel (the "app", package com.deadpixel) is a personal privacy
tool. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
The short version: Deadpixel does not collect, transmit, store, or share any of
your personal data on any server. Everything you put into it stays on your device, and we
have no ability to see it.
None. The app has no analytics, advertising, accounts, or third‑party tracking of any kind. It sends nothing about you or your usage anywhere. The developer receives no data from the app whatsoever.
You may choose to add content — screenshots, imported files, notes, contacts (including any phone numbers, emails, addresses, or social‑profile links you enter), and to‑do items. All of it is stored only in the app's private storage on your own device. It is never uploaded, backed up to any server, or made available to us or anyone else.
The app requests the INTERNET permission for a single feature: an in‑app
browser used to open a contact's Facebook or Instagram profile that you have chosen to save.
When you tap to open a profile:
Because all your data is local, you are in full control. Removing an item in the app, using "clear app data" in Android Settings, or uninstalling the app permanently deletes the associated data from your device. There is nothing stored elsewhere to delete.
Your data is kept in the app's private, app‑sandboxed storage, protected by Android's file‑based encryption while the device is locked. Note that it is not additionally encrypted beyond that; anyone with full access to an unlocked device may be able to reach it.
Deadpixel is not directed to children under 13 and knowingly collects no information from anyone.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new "last updated" date.
